Reliability and Service Life Analysis of Airbag Systems

Airbag systems are important to a car’s safety protection system. To further improve the reliability of system, this paper analyzes failure mechanism automotive airbag and establishes dynamic fault tree model. The model is transformed into continuous-time Bayesian network by introducing unit step function an impulse function, from which probability system calculated. Finally, average life calculated analyzed compared with sequential binary decision diagram method. results show that method can obtain more accurate effectively identify weak parts certain extent compensating for lack computational complexity networks in solving problems continuous processes.
